Rental fleets often bulk-manage tolls. If a rental company pays on your behalf, they’ll add an admin fee. If you must pay yourself, do it by 8pm the next day and keep the receipt.

Checklist at the counter

1. Ask whether M50 tolls are auto‑billed or self‑pay.
2. Clarify admin fee amounts and billing timing.
3. Confirm how you’ll receive invoices/receipts.

Disputes are simplest when you act early—contact the rental’s customer care with your reg, contract number, and journey time. If a plate was cloned or misread, report it immediately.
